Handwritten Brush Style Font Design of "DIABLO"

I think almost all computer game lovers know Blizzard's Diablo series very well. Recently the announcement of remastered Diablo II got large amount of attention, including mine. 

The technology has not only resurrected the game, but also the excitement in our memory. Because you can import your saved games in this rebuilt version. I can still remember when I played this game during my college life. 

To express my appreciation, I designed a handwritten brush style fonts for its promo material. Although it is only a small piece of fan art, in the creation I could strongly feel the expressiveness of Asian brush. I deeply believe the Chinese and Japanese calligraphic techniques can be well applied to western alphabets, not limited to Asian characters.
